Do you like to travel with your pet across the United States in a RV or camper? We do, and our dogs are all special needs our RV is like their second home, whenever we open the door they are ready to go! Have you ever ran in to a camp grounds that says they are pet-friendly but are NOT, we have? Then we have camped at some that are so wonderful that we want everyone to know just how pet-friendly they truly are. Some will only allow small dogs or will not allow a certain breed of dog. The one that gets me is no dog should be unattended. My dogs are never off leash just running around or tied out, but what some of the camping facilities are really saying is you can't leave them alone in your RV or camper in the air or heat! 

We have been told we can't leave our dogs in our RV and go to town and get something to eat or to a ballgame. Our dogs are safe in crates have water and in the air, yes they do bark for a time when crated, but they are always quiet when we get back. We crate them at our home when we leave them and they do the same. Then the ad for the campsite says we don't allow certain breeds, so we call and they say what kind of dog do you have, "well we have a rat terrier, jack russell terrier and a dalmatian". Sorry we don't allow any terriers! They don't know breeds of dogs at all and they really don't want any dogs at their campsite, that's what they are telling me.

​I'm thinking of building an app of campgrounds and campsites that families with dogs are especially welcome.  The app would be of places you can have fun camping on vacation or traveling in a RV with your dog in the United States!
