Rainbow Bridge
"Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hill for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill or old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling to each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together........"

This is Raisin 1997-2013. She came to our home as a very young pup, she lived with us for 16 good years. Some day we will see you at the bridge.
This is Rascal boy 2000-2013. We adopted him in 2009, he only was with us a short time. We still miss him today, sometimes we can still hear him barking and chasing every squirrel he sees.
This is Butterscotch 1993-2009. She is the reason I started feeding raw food, at two years old we found out she had epilepsy. This brave little girl lived for 15 years taking medication and eating raw food to keep her epilepsy under control.
Now this is Ebony we adopted her in 1996-2007. She was the mother of all of the pets, and kept them all in line. No dog has been able to fill her paws. I can just see her at the bridge being a mother to all that are waiting.
This is Rudy we adopted him in 1997-2007. He was a senior guy when we adopted him, but he never wanted to stop playing fetch. He loved balls, Frisbee or even a stick, he would all ways bring it back and drop it at your feet.
Indy we adopted him in 1984-2006. He was a joker, he would whistle for the foster dogs to come over when they did, and stick their nose by the cage he would reach out and nip them. He all so talked and would tell our other bird to be quiet!
This girl we never adopted, she was one of our foster dogs. She came in to rescue in 1991 and was about 4 years old. She had heart murmur, the vet said she was most likely born with the heart problem. She was adopted out, but was returned and earned the right to live with us until she passed over the rainbow bridge in 2005.
Alex 1987-2002. He was one smart cat, our neighbors watched him cross the road and he would sit and watch the traffic, he just knew when it was clear so he could cross the road safely. Then one day we looked out our window and he was on the neighbors roof. Each time we would tell him "Alex get home!" He was all ways on the front step, waiting.
Squeaky was with us from 1984-1998. No he did not talk but he was the best watch bird around. He was in the front window and when any thing was going on outside that window, he would let out a scream. He would not stop until what ever was going on stopped or was gone.
Duke, we adopted him in 1990-1996. He crossed over to the rainbow bridge at a young age he was sick with bone cancer.
This was little Boots 1979-1994, she was with us in good and bad times.
