Why I Feed RawI was only a stay at home Mom that cooked and cleaned for my family then on top of it all I volunteered my time as a director of a dog rescue. That was when our little terrier had her first seizure. Then at one of our visits to our vet, I was informed that her seizures were becoming out of control. If she kept having them, they would have to add another medication. I was desperate to find a way to help her. I heard about a raw diet and wanted to see if it would help her, I became extremely frustrated no one could help me and I could not find any recipes. How much do I feed her and what is safe for her to eat? After a lengthy search I did find out how much to feed her and what was safe. In my research I found foods that helped a dog with epilepsy. This allowed me to develop a recipe for her. I saw first hand how it helped our little terrier and quickly developed a recipe for all of our dogs. Our pets are apart of our family, we want to help them if we can. We have the recipe available and hope to be adding it soon! For a more in-depth story about our terrier go to Why I Feed Raw at the top under Home. This is Spangler we adopted her several years ago , she has neurological problems and seizures because she had distemper when she was a pup and lived, but was left with these side effects. She also eats this recipe, but I had to change it some, do to her neurological problems she has a hard time chewing.
Sure hope something on our website is helpful to you and that you pass http://www.arthursdoghouse.com on to just one of your dog friends. Thanks, come back real soon!
